तात यस्मिन्निसृष्टोऽहं त्वया भ्रातरि राघवे।।।।तस्मिन्वनं प्रव्रजिते शून्ये त्यक्तोऽस्म्यहं त्वया।
tāta yasmin nisṛṣṭo ’haṃ tvayā bhrātari rāghave | tasmin vanaṃ pravrajite śūnye tyakto ’smy ahaṃ tvayā ||
தந்தையே, நீ என்னை அண்ணன் ராகவனிடம் ஒப்படைத்தாய்; இப்போது அந்த ராகவன் வனத்திற்குச் சென்றபோது, நீ என்னை வெறுமையிலே விட்டுத் துறந்துவிட்டாய்।
O dear father, my brother Rama to whom you have entrusted me has been sent tothe forest now and I am left in a vacuum.
