चित्रकूटगमनम् तथा पर्णशालाप्रवेशः

ऐणेयं मांसमाहृत्य शालां यक्ष्यामहे वयम्।कर्तव्यं वास्तुशमनं सौमित्रे चिरजीविभिः।।।।

ஓ சௌமித்ரே! கருங்கலை மானின் இறைச்சியை கொண்டு வந்து நாம் இந்த குடிலுக்குப் பூஜை (யஜனம்) செய்வோம். இங்கு நீண்ட நாள் தங்க வேண்டுமெனில் முதலில் வாஸ்து-சமனம் செய்து இல்லத் தெய்வத்தைப் பிரசன்னப்படுத்துதல் கடமை.
