प्राप्स्यामि यानद्य गुणान्को मे श्वस्तान् प्रदास्यति।अपक्रमणमेवातः सर्वकामैरहं वृणे।।।।
prāpsyāmi yān adya guṇān ko me śvas tān pradāsyati |
apakramaṇam evātaḥ sarvakāmair ahaṃ vṛṇe ||
இன்று நான் பெறக்கூடிய புண்ணிய நற்குணங்களை நாளை எனக்கு யார் அளிப்பார்? ஆகவே எல்லா ஆசைகளையும் விட்டுவிட்டு, புறப்படுதலையே நான் தேர்கிறேன்.
Who will give me the merit (of propriety) I earn today? Therefore, I want to depart (today), discarding all my desires.
