अयोध्याकाण्डे षड्विंशः सर्गः

वैदेही चापि तत्सर्वं न शुश्राव तपस्विनी।तदेव हृदि तस्याश्च यौवराज्याभिषेचनम्।।।।
vaidehī cāpi tat sarvaṃ na śuśrāva tapasvinī |
tad eva hṛdi tasyāś ca yauvarājyābhiṣecanam ||
தவவிரதத்தில் லயித்த தவஸ்வினி வைதேஹி அவை அனைத்தையும் கேளாதிருந்தாள்; அவள் உள்ளத்தில் இளவரசரின் அபிஷேகச் சிந்தனையே மட்டும் நிலைத்திருந்தது॥
Sita, her mind preoccupied with thoughts about consecration, was engaged in religious austerities and hence could not hear of all this (development).
