कैकेय्याः प्रतिपत्तिर्हि कथं स्यान्मम पीडने।यदि भावो न दैवोऽयं कृतान्तविहितो भवेत्।।।।
kaikeyyāḥ pratipattir hi kathaṃ syān mama pīḍane | yadi bhāvo na daivo ’yaṃ kṛtānta-vihito bhavet ||
இந்த மனநிலைவும் இந்தத் துன்பமும் கிருதாந்தம் விதித்த தெய்வவிதி அல்லையெனில், கைகேயி என்னைத் துன்புறுத்தும் இத்தகைய உறுதியை எவ்வாறு அடைந்திருப்பாள்?
