The Gift of the Sandals and Delegated Kingship
एतावदुक्त्वा वचनं गन्धर्वा: समहर्षयः।
राजर्षयश्चैव तदा सर्वे स्वां स्वां गतिं गताः।।2.112.7।।
etāvad uktvā vacanaṃ gandharvāḥ sa-maharṣayaḥ | rājarṣayaś caiva tadā sarve svāṃ svāṃ gatiṃ gatāḥ || 2.112.7 ||
இவ்வளவு மட்டும் சொல்லி, கந்தர்வர்கள் மகரிஷிகளுடன், ராஜரிஷிகளும் சேர்ந்து, அப்போது அனைவரும் தத்தம் தத்தம் தாமங்களுக்கு சென்றனர்.
O Bharata, born in an illustrious race, highly sagacious and a man of virtuous conduct and great renown, accept Rama's proposal if you have any regard for your father.
