dharma-kāma-artha-tattva-jñaḥ smṛtimān pratibhānavān | laukike samayācāre kṛta-kalpo viśāradaḥ ||

Translation

அவர் தர்மம், அர்த்தம், காமம் ஆகியவற்றின் தத்துவத்தை உணர்ந்தவர்; உறுதியான நினைவாற்றலும் கூரிய பிரகாசமான அறிவும் உடையவர். உலக வழக்கங்களிலும், காலத்திற்கேற்ற ஒழுக்கத்திலும், விதி-விதானங்களிலும் தேர்ந்தவராய் மிகுந்த நிபுணராக இருந்தார்.
