विविधाः प्राणिनां रोगाः स्मृतास्तेषां च हेतवः । तस्मात्तत्त्वप्रधानस्तु कर्म एव हि प्राणिनाम्

vividhāḥ prāṇināṃ rogāḥ smṛtāsteṣāṃ ca hetavaḥ | tasmāttattvapradhānastu karma eva hi prāṇinām

உயிர்களுக்கு பலவகை நோய்களும் அவற்றின் காரணங்களும் ஸ்மிருதிகளில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளன; ஆகவே உண்மையில் உயிர்களின் முதன்மை நிர்ணயக் கோட்பாடு கர்மமே ஆகும்।
