Kāśī-māhātmya: Avimukta Gaṅgā and the Pañcanada Tīrtha
यत्किंचिद्बिंदुतीर्थेऽत्र दत्वाक्षयमवाप्नुयात् । एकामप्याहुतिं कृत्वा समिद्धेऽग्नौ विधानतः ॥ ३८ ॥
yatkiṃcidbiṃdutīrthe'tra datvākṣayamavāpnuyāt | ekāmapyāhutiṃ kṛtvā samiddhe'gnau vidhānataḥ || 38 ||
இங்கு பிந்து தீர்த்தத்தில் எதைத் தானமாக அளித்தாலும் அதன் புண்ணியப் பயன் அழியாததாகும். விதிப்படி நன்றாக எரியும் அக்னியில் ஒரே ஒரு ஆஹுதியைச் செய்தாலும் நிலையான பலன் கிடைக்கும்.
