Prabodhinī Ekādaśī, Kārtika-vrata, and Satya-dharma

शयने वामनेत्रायाः सकामाया महीपते । कृतां जलिपुटा भूत्वा भर्तुर्नमितकन्धरा ॥ ८ ॥

ஓ மஹீபதே! கணவன் படுக்கையில் கிடந்தபோது, அந்தக் காமினி இடக்கண் சாய்வுக் கடாட்சத்துடன், ஆண்டவனுக்கு கழுத்தைத் தாழ்த்தி, அஞ்சலி கூப்பி அவரை அணுகினாள்।
