The Exposition of the Nityā-paṭala
हवनादपि तत्प्राप्तिर्भवत्येव न संशयः । विद्यां संसाध्य पूर्वं तु पस्चादुक्तानशेषतः ॥ १८६ ॥
havanādapi tatprāptirbhavatyeva na saṃśayaḥ | vidyāṃ saṃsādhya pūrvaṃ tu pascāduktānaśeṣataḥ || 186 ||
ஹோமத்தினாலும் அந்தப் பெறுதல் நிச்சயமாக உண்டாகும்—சந்தேகம் இல்லை. ஆனால் முதலில் வேண்டிய வித்யையைச் சிறப்பாகச் சாதித்து, பின்னர் கூறப்பட்ட விதிகளை ஒன்றும் விடாமல் முழுமையாகச் செய்ய வேண்டும்.
