सार्द्धद्वादशवर्णो वा धूमितो र्निदितस्तु सः । सार्द्धबीजत्रययुतो मंत्रो विंशतिवर्णवान् ॥ ४६ ॥

பன்னிரண்டரை எழுத்துகளைக் கொண்ட மந்திரம் ‘தூமித’ என அழைக்கப்பட்டு கண்டிக்கப்படுகிறது. ஆனால் மூன்றரை பீஜங்களுடன் இணைந்தால் அந்த மந்திரம் இருபது எழுத்துகளுடையதாக ஆகிறது.
