करोति वञ्चनं मित्रे यो वा को वापि दुष्टधीः । स हि पापपालं भुंक्ते यातनास्तु युगायुतम् ॥ ७६ ॥
karoti vañcanaṃ mitre yo vā ko vāpi duṣṭadhīḥ | sa hi pāpapālaṃ bhuṃkte yātanāstu yugāyutam || 76 ||
தீய புத்தியுடைய யாரேனும் நண்பனை ஏமாற்றினால், அவன் நிச்சயமாகப் பாவப்பலனை அனுபவித்து, அயுத யுகங்கள் வரை வேதனைகளைச் சுமப்பான்.
