The Greatness of the Gaṅgā (Gaṅgā-māhātmya): Saudāsa/Kalmāṣapāda’s Curse and Release
श्रुणुयुस्ते पुराणानि प्राहुरित्थं पुराविदः । अहं तु गौतममुनेः सर्वज्ञाद्ब्रह्यवादिनः ॥ ४ ॥
śruṇuyuste purāṇāni prāhuritthaṃ purāvidaḥ | ahaṃ tu gautamamuneḥ sarvajñādbrahyavādinaḥ || 4 ||
புராண அறிஞர்கள் கூறினர்: “இவ்விதமாக உமது புராணங்களை நாம் கேட்போம்.” ஆனால் நான் அனைத்தையும் அறிந்த பிரம்மவாதி கௌதம முனிவரிடமிருந்து (இவற்றை) கேட்டேன்.
