The Description of Mārkaṇḍeya

तं सदानन्दचिन्मात्रं पराणां परमं पदम् । सर्वं सनातनं श्रेष्ठं प्रणतोऽस्मि जनार्दनम् ॥ ४१ ॥

taṃ sadānandacinmātraṃ parāṇāṃ paramaṃ padam | sarvaṃ sanātanaṃ śreṣṭhaṃ praṇato'smi janārdanam || 41 ||

என்றும் ஆனந்தசொரூபமும் சின்மாத்திரமும் ஆனவர்; எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் அப்பாற்பட்ட பரம பதம்; அனைத்திலும் நிறைந்த சனாதனமான உத்தமன்—அந்த ஜனார்தனனை நான் வணங்குகிறேன்।
