Sanatkumāra (in dialogue instructing Nārada on dedicating karma to Hari)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that the durability of spiritual merit depends on dedication: when actions are performed diligently and their results are offered to Hari, the merit becomes akṣaya (imperishable).
Bhakti is shown as the consecrating power that turns ordinary karma into lasting spiritual gain—by nivedana (offering) of the fruit to Hari rather than claiming it for oneself.
The verse emphasizes ritual and ethical discipline (proper performance of karmāṇi without negligence) and the principle of phala-tyāga—offering outcomes to the deity—used across Vedic ritual practice.
