It teaches that the one Supreme Śakti is invoked through many sacred names, each highlighting a distinct power (śakti) and function—protection (Durgā), auspicious fierce grace (Bhadrakālī), and divine sovereignty through the deities’ energies.
By listing reverential names, it models nāma-smaraṇa (remembrance of divine names) as a direct bhakti practice—approaching the Goddess through her epithets and recognizing her presence in multiple divine manifestations.
Primarily Vyākaraṇa and Nirukta in practice: understanding names (nāma), their derivations and meanings, and using correct recitation of epithets for stuti and japa in ritual contexts.
