Gṛhastha-praveśa: Vivāha-bheda, Ācāra-śauca, Śrāddha-kāla, and Vaiṣṇava-lakṣaṇa
नाशुद्धोऽग्निं परिचरेत्पूजयेद्गुरुदेवताः । न वामहस्तेनैकेन पिबेद्वक्रेण वा जलम् ॥ ३६ ॥
nāśuddho'gniṃ paricaretpūjayedgurudevatāḥ | na vāmahastenaikena pibedvakreṇa vā jalam || 36 ||
அசுத்த நிலையில் அக்னியைப் பராமரிக்கக் கூடாது; குருவையும் தேவதைகளையும் பூஜிக்கக் கூடாது. இடது கையால் மட்டும், அல்லது வாயைச் சாய்த்து, நீர் அருந்தக் கூடாது।
