अन्यथा पतितं विद्यात्कर्त्तापि ब्रह्महा भवेत् । र्मौजी विप्रस्य विज्ञेया धनुर्ज्या क्षत्त्रियस्य तु ॥ १६ ॥
anyathā patitaṃ vidyātkarttāpi brahmahā bhavet | rmaujī viprasya vijñeyā dhanurjyā kṣattriyasya tu || 16 ||
விதிக்குப் புறம்பாகச் செய்தால் அது தர்மவீழ்ச்சிக்குக் காரணம் என அறிய வேண்டும்; செய்பவனும் பிராமணஹத்தியை ஒத்த பாவத்தை அடைவான். விப்ரருக்குப் மௌஜீ (முஞ்சப் புல் மேகலை), க்ஷத்திரியருக்குத் தனுர்ஜ்யா (வில் நாண்) எனக் கூறப்படுகிறது।
