इति श्रीबृहन्नांरदीयपुराणं पूर्वभागे प्रथमपादे व्रताख्याने मार्गशीर्षशुल्कैकादशीमासभ्य पौर्णिमापर्यन्तं पञ्चरात्रिव्रतं नामैकविंशोऽध्यायः ॥ २१ ॥

Transliteration

iti śrībṛhannāṃradīyapurāṇaṃ pūrvabhāge prathamapāde vratākhyāne mārgaśīrṣaśulkaikādaśīmāsabhya paurṇimāparyantaṃ pañcarātrivrataṃ nāmaikaviṃśo'dhyāyaḥ || 21 ||

Translation

இவ்வாறு ஸ்ரீபிருஹந்நாரதீய புராணத்தின் பூர்வபாகத்தின் முதல் பாதத்தில், விரதவிவரணப் பகுதியில், மார்கசீர்ஷ சுக்ல ஏகாதசியிலிருந்து பௌர்ணமி வரை கூறப்பட்ட ‘பஞ்சராத்திரி விரதம்’ எனும் இருபத்தொன்றாம் அத்தியாயம் நிறைவு பெற்றது।
