Bhāgīratha’s Bringing of the Gaṅgā
भगीरथ उवाच । अनुग्राह्योस्मि यदि ते वरदानान्महेश्वर । तदा गङ्गां प्रयच्छास्मत्पितॄणां मुक्तिहेतवे ॥ १०४ ॥
bhagīratha uvāca | anugrāhyosmi yadi te varadānānmaheśvara | tadā gaṅgāṃ prayacchāsmatpitṝṇāṃ muktihetave || 104 ||
பகீரதன் கூறினான்—ஓ மகேஸ்வரா! உமது அருளுக்கும் வரங்களுக்கும் நான் தகுதியானவன் என்றால், என் பித்ருக்களின் முக்திக்காக கங்கையை அருளி இறக்கிவையுங்கள்।
