Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that honoring the Lord with reverent hospitality—offering a seat, washing His feet, and bowing with one’s head—brings the highest inner joy and divine grace.
Bhakti here is expressed as humble service (sevā): receiving Vishnu (as Vāmana) with āsana-dāna and pāda-prakṣālana, and placing Him above oneself—symbolically carrying Him on the head.
It reflects ritual conduct (kalpa-based practice) in pūjā/atithi-sevā: proper reception of a revered guest—offering a seat and washing the feet—used as a devotional rite in Vishnu worship.
