अंबुपूर्णे घटे न्यस्य पूजयेदुपचारकैः । ततोऽग्निं नवमुत्पाद्य काष्ठसंघर्षणादिभिः ॥ ७२ ॥

Transliteration

aṃbupūrṇe ghaṭe nyasya pūjayedupacārakaiḥ | tato'gniṃ navamutpādya kāṣṭhasaṃgharṣaṇādibhiḥ || 72 ||

Translation

நீரால் நிரம்பிய கலசத்தில் (அதை) வைத்து, வழக்கமான உபசாரங்களால் பூஜை செய்ய வேண்டும். பின்னர் மரக்கட்டைகளை உரசி முதலிய முறைகளால் புதிய அக்னியை உண்டாக்க வேண்டும்।
