ஜாம்பவதீ எனப்படும் நதியின் புனிதக் கதை, பாண்டு-கூபத்தின் சத்கதை, மேலும் சத-அச்வமேதம், லக்ஷ-அச்வமேதம், கோடி-அச்வமேதம் யாகங்களின் கதைகளும் கூறப்படுகின்றன।
