समासाद्योभये सेने परस्परजयैषिणाम् रोषेणातिपरीतानां त्यक्तजीवितचेतसाम् //

Transliteration

samāsādyobhaye sene parasparajayaiṣiṇām roṣeṇātiparītānāṃ tyaktajīvitacetasām //

Translation

இரு சேனைகளும் ஒன்றையொன்று அணுகி, பரஸ்பர வெற்றியை நாடியபோது, கோபத்தால் மிகுந்து ஆட்கொள்ளப்பட்ட வீரர்கள் உயிர் பற்றிய எண்ணத்தைத் துறந்து போரிட்டனர்।
