भोजयेदीश्वरो ऽपीह न कुर्याद्विस्तरं बुधः दैवपूर्वं नियोज्याथ विप्रानर्घ्यादिना बुधः //

Transliteration

bhojayedīśvaro 'pīha na kuryādvistaraṃ budhaḥ daivapūrvaṃ niyojyātha viprānarghyādinā budhaḥ //

Translation

இவ்விஷயத்தில் வல்லமை உடையவரும் எளிமையாக விருந்தளிக்க வேண்டும்; ஆடம்பரம் செய்யக் கூடாது. முதலில் தேவபூஜை செய்து, பின்னர் அர்க்யம் முதலிய வரவேற்புகளால் விப்ரர்களை மரியாதை செய்து பணியமர்த்த வேண்டும்.
