Adhyaya 90 — The Slaying of Shumbha and the Reabsorption of the Goddesses into Ambika
नियुद्धं खे तदा दैत्यश्चण्डिका च परस्परम् ।
चक्रतुः प्रथमं सिद्धमुनिविस्मयकारकम् ॥
niyuddhaṃ khe tadā daityaś caṇḍikā ca parasparam /
cakratuḥ prathamaṃ siddhamunivismayakārakam
அப்போது அந்த தைத்யனும் சண்டிகையும் ஆகாயத்தில் முதலில் நெருக்குப் போரில் ஒன்றோடொன்று மோதினர்; அந்த அதிசயச் சந்திப்பு सिद्ध முனிவர்களை வியப்பில் ஆழ்த்தியது।
