भगवानुवाच भवनेतामद्य मे तुष्टौ मम वध्यावुभावपि ।
किमन्येन वरेणात्र एतावद्धि वृतं मम ॥
bhagavān uvāca bhavan etām adya me tuṣṭau mama vadhyāv ubhāv api | kim anyena vareṇātra etāvad dhi vṛtaṃ mama ||
பகவான் கூறினார்: 'நீங்கள் இருவரும் என்மீது மகிழ்ச்சி கொண்டிருந்தால், என் கைகளால் நீங்கள் வதைக்கப்பட வேண்டும். இங்கே எனக்கு வேறு வரம் எதற்கு? இதை மட்டுமே நான் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கிறேன்.'
