तस्य वैवस्वतस्याहं मनोः सप्तममन्तरम् ।
कथयामि सुतान्भूपानृषीन्देवान्सुराधिपम् ॥
tasya vaivasvatas yāhaṃ manoḥ saptamam antaram | kathayāmi sutān bhūpān ṛṣīn devān surādhipam ||
இப்போது அந்த வைவர்ஸ்வத மனுவின் ஏழாவது மந்வந்தரத்தை நான் கூறுவேன்—அவனுடைய மகன்கள், அரசர்கள், ரிஷிகள், தேவர்கள், மேலும் தேவேந்திரன் (இந்திரன்) ஆகியோரைப் பற்றியும்.
