ये देवा यत्पतिर्यश्च देवेन्द्रो ये तथर्षयः ।
ये पुत्राश्च मनोस्तस्य पृथिवीपरिपालकाः ॥
ye devā yatpatiryaśca devendro ye tatharṣayaḥ / ye putrāśca manostasya pṛthivīparipālakāḥ
அங்கே எந்த தேவர்கள் இருந்தனர், அவர்களின் தலைவன்—இந்திரன் யார், எந்த ரிஷிகள் இருந்தனர்; மேலும் அந்த மனுவின் எந்த மகன்கள் பூமியின் காவலர்களானார்கள்—இவை அனைத்தும் விளக்கப்படும்.
