मार्कण्डेय उवाच इति दत्वा वरं तस्मै नागराजसुता ततः ।
सखीṃ तां संपरिष्वज्य पातालमगमन्मुने ॥
mārkaṇḍeya uvāca iti datvā varaṃ tasmai nāgarājasutā tataḥ | sakhīṃ tāṃ saṃpariṣvajya pātālam agaman mune ||
மார்கண்டேயர் கூறினார்—இவ்வாறு அவனுக்கு வரம் அளித்து, நாகராஜனின் மகள் அந்த நண்பனை அணைத்து, ஓ முனிவரே, பாதாளலோகத்திற்குச் சென்றாள்.
