ततः कलावतीत्येतन्मम नाम महात्मना । गृहीतायाः कृतं पित्रा गन्धर्वेण शुभानना ॥
tataḥ kalāvatī ity etan mama nāma mahātmanā | gṛhītāyāḥ kṛtaṃ pitrā gandharveṇa śubhānanā ||
பின்னர், ஓ அழகிய முகத்தையுடையவளே, ஒரு உயர்குல கந்தர்வன் என்னை தந்தையாக ஏற்று காத்து வளர்த்தான்; அவனே எனக்கு ‘கலாவதி’ என்ற பெயரை வைத்தான்।
