एकादश तथैवाऽन्यदपत्यं तस्य वै दिने ।

अन्यद्दिनाभिगमने श्राद्धदाने तथाऽपरे ॥

Transliteration

ekādaśa tathaivānyad apatyam tasya vai dine | anyad dinābhigamane śrāddha-dāne tathāpare ||

Translation

பதினொன்றாம் நாளிலும் அதேபோல் ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட வகை சந்ததி உண்டாகும் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. வேறு நாளில் சங்கமம் குறித்து, மற்ற நாட்களில் சிராத்தம் மற்றும் தானம் குறித்து (சிறப்பு பலன் அல்லது அசுபம்) விளக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
