Humans are positioned between animal instinct and divine refinement, implying a duty to redirect one’s ‘current’ upward through discipline, knowledge, and dharma.
Sarga: it continues the vaikṛta enumeration, specifying deva and human creations.
Upward/downward ‘currents’ can be read as tendencies of consciousness: aspiration and luminosity (devas) versus gravitation toward embodiment and desire (humans), inviting inner reorientation.
