Adhyaya 47 — Brahma’s Awakening and the Ninefold Scheme of Creation
बहिरन्तश्चाप्रकाशः संवृतात्मा नगात्मकः ।
मुख्या नगा यतश्चोक्ता मुख्यसर्गस्ततस्त्वयम् ॥
bahirantaś cāprakāśaḥ saṃvṛtātmā nagātmakaḥ /
mukhyā nagā yataś coktā mukhyasargas tatas tv ayam
வெளியிலும் உள்ளிலும் ஒளியற்றதாக, ஆத்மா மறைக்கப்பட்டதாக இருந்த இந்தப் படைப்பு நிலைபெற்ற (ஸ்தாவர) இயல்புடையது; இதை ‘நாக’ (அசையா/தாவர உயிர்கள்) எனக் கூறுவர். இந்நாகங்கள் ‘முக்கிய’ என அழைக்கப்படுவதால் இதுவே ‘முக்கியஸர்கம்’ (முதன்மைப் படைப்பு) எனப் பெயர்பெற்றது।
