नाशयेच्चित्तमावर्त उपसर्गः स उच्यते ।

एतैर्नाशितयोगास्तु सकला देवयोनयः ॥

Transliteration

nāśayeccittamāvarta upasargaḥ sa ucyate | etairnāśitayogāstu sakalā devayonayaḥ ||

Translation

மனத்தை அழிக்கும் அந்தச் சுழலே ‘உபசர்கம்’ (தடை) என அழைக்கப்படுகிறது. இவற்றால் தெய்வப் பிறப்புடைய எல்லா உயிர்களும் யோகத்தில் வீழ்ச்சி அடைந்தனர்.
