Adhyaya 37 — Alarka’s Crisis and the Teaching on Non-Attachment (Madālasa’s Instruction Recalled)
तं बुबोधयिषुः सोऽथ चिरं ध्यात्वा महीपतिः ।
तद्वैरिसंश्रयं तस्य श्रेयोऽमन्यत भूपतेः ॥
taṃ bubodhayīṣuḥ so 'tha ciraṃ dhyātvā mahīpatiḥ |
tad-vairi-saṃśrayaṃ tasya śreyo 'manyata bhūpateḥ ||
அவனை விழிப்புறச் செய்ய விரும்பி அவர் நீண்ட நேரம் சிந்தித்து, அந்த அரசன் பகைவரின் அடைக்கலத்திற்குச் செல்லும்படி தள்ளப்படுவது நன்று எனக் கருதி, பகை அழுத்தத்தை எதிர்கொள்ளச் செய்தார்।
