Adhyaya 35 — Madālasa’s Instruction on Purity, Impurity, and Corrective Rites (Śauca and Aśauca)
प्रतोददण्डौ च तथा सम्यग्वर्णाः कृतक्रियाः ।
स्ववर्णधर्मनिर्दिष्टमुपादानं तथा क्रियाः ॥
pratodadaṇḍau ca tathā samyag varṇāḥ kṛtakriyāḥ /
svavarṇadharmanirdiṣṭam upādānaṃ tathā kriyāḥ
அங்குசமும் தண்டும் பற்றியும் இதே விதி. வர்ணத்தார் முறையாகச் சடங்குகளை நிறைவு செய்து, தேவையான உபகரணங்களை ஏற்று, தத்தம் வர்ணதர்மத்திற்கேற்ப செயல்களைச் செய்ய வேண்டும்.
