तत्तद् गुणवते देयं तदेवाक्षयमिच्छता ।

पूर्णैस्तु दिवसैः स्पृष्ट्वा सलिलं वाहनायुधम् ॥

tattad guṇavate deyaṃ tadevākṣayam icchatā /

pūrṇais tu divasaiḥ spṛṣṭvā salilaṃ vāhanāyudham

Translation

அழியாப் புண்ணியம் நாடுபவன் தகுதியுள்ள பாத்திரனுக்கே அந்தத் தானத்தை அளிக்க வேண்டும்; அதுவே அக்ஷயமாகிறது. மேலும் நாட்களின் முழு எண்ணிக்கை நிறைவுற்ற பின் நீரைத் தொட்டு வாகனமும் ஆயுதங்களும் மீண்டும் ஏற்கலாம்.
