ततः प्रहृष्टः प्रतिलभ्य कान्तां प्रणम्य नागं निजगाम सोऽथ ।
सुशोभमानः स्वपुरं तमश्वम् आरुह्य संचितितमभ्युपतेम् ॥
tataḥ prahṛṣṭaḥ pratilabhya kāntāṃ praṇamya nāgaṃ nijagāma so ’tha |
suśobhamānaḥ svapuraṃ tam aśvam āruhya saṃcintitam abhyupatem ||
பின்னர் அவன் மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் தன் பிரியையை மீண்டும் பெற்றவனாய், நாகனை வணங்கி மீண்டான். ஒளிவீசும் அவன் அந்தக் குதிரையில் ஏறி, தன் தீர்மானத்தை நினைந்து தன் நகரத்திற்குச் சென்றான்।
