Adhyaya 22 — Kuvalayashva’s Death through Daitya-Deceit and Madalasa’s Self-Immolation
युध्यमानो यथाशक्ति निघ्नन् ब्रह्मद्विषो युधि ।
मायामाश्रित्य पापेन भिन्नः शूलेन वक्षसी ॥
yudhyamāno yathāśakti nighnan brahmadviṣo yudhi | māyāmāśritya pāpena bhinnaḥ śūlena vakṣasī ||
அவன் இயன்ற அளவு போரிட்டு, பிரம்மத்தை (வேதநியமத்தை) வெறுப்பவர்களைப் போர்க்களத்தில் வீழ்த்தினான்; ஆனால் அந்தப் பாவி மாயையை நாடி, அவன் மார்பைத் திரிசூலத்தால் குத்தினான்.
