Adhyaya 19 — Kartavirya Arjuna at Dattatreya’s Ashram: Boons, Sovereignty, and Vaishnava Praise
तेषामहं परां तुष्टिं पुत्रदारधनादिकम् ।
प्रदास्याम्यवघातञ्च हनिष्याम्यवमन्यताम् ॥
teṣām ahaṃ parāṃ tuṣṭiṃ putradāradhanādikam /
pradāsyāmy avaghātañ ca haniṣyāmy avamanyatām
அவர்களுக்கு நான் உச்சமான திருப்தியை அளிப்பேன்—மக்கள், மனைவி, செல்வம் முதலியவை; மேலும் அவர்களுக்கு ஏற்பட்ட தீங்குகளை அழித்து, அவர்கள்மீது நிகழும் அவமதிப்புக்கும் முடிவை ஏற்படுத்துவேன்।
