तथैवासीद्ू विदर्भेषु भीमो भीमपराक्रम: । शूर: सर्वगुणैर्युक्त: प्रजाकाम: स चाप्रज:
tathaivāsīd vidarbheṣu bhīmo bhīmaparākramaḥ | śūraḥ sarvaguṇair yuktaḥ prajākāmaḥ sa cāprajaḥ ||
பிருஹதச்வர் கூறினார்—அதேபோல் விதர்ப நாட்டில் பீமன் என்னும் ஒருவன் இருந்தான்; அவன் அச்சமூட்டும் வீரத்தால் புகழ்பெற்றவன். அவன் வீரன், எல்லாக் குணங்களும் உடையவன்; சந்ததியை விரும்பினான், ஆனால் பிள்ளையில்லாதவனாகவே இருந்தான்.
