अङ्गददूतवाक्यं लङ्काप्राकारभेदनं च

सीमन्तिनीनां मुख्यायां विनिवृत्त: कथं भवान्‌ । एतां दृष्ट्वा स्त्रियो मेडन्या यथा शाखामृगस्त्रिय:

Transliteration

sīmāntinīnāṃ mukhyāyāṃ vinivṛttaḥ kathaṃ bhavān | etāṃ dṛṣṭvā striyo meḍanyā yathā śākhāmṛga-striyaḥ ||

Translation

வைசம்பாயனன் கூறினான்—“பெண்களில் முதன்மையான அவளிடமிருந்து நீ எவ்வாறு திரும்பிவந்தாய்? அவளைப் பார்த்தவுடனே மேட நாட்டுப் பெண்கள் கிளர்ச்சியடைந்து அவளின் பின்னே இழுக்கப்படுகின்றனர்—மரங்களில் வாழும் மான்களின் பெண் மான்கள் போல।”
