Yuddha-yajña-vyākhyāna (The Battle as Sacrifice): Ambarīṣa–Indra Saṃvāda

दीपिचर्मावनद्धश्न नागदन्तकृतत्सरु: । हस्तिहस्तहर: खड्ग: स्फ्यो भवेत्‌ तस्य संयुगे

dīpicarmāvanaddhaś ca nāgadantakṛtatsaruḥ | hastihastaharaḥ khaḍgaḥ sphyo bhavet tasya saṃyuge ||

அம்பரீஷன் கூறினான்—சிறுத்தைத் தோல் உறையில் வைத்திருக்கும், யானைத் தந்தத்தால் செய்யப்பட்ட பிடியுடைய, யானையின் துதிக்கையையும் வெட்ட வல்ல வாள்—அதே போரில் அவனுக்கு ஸ்ப்யம் (காப்புக் கருவி) போல ஆகிறது.
