Yuddha-yajña-vyākhyāna (The Battle as Sacrifice): Ambarīṣa–Indra Saṃvāda
चापवेगायतस्ती क्षण: परकायावभेदन: । ऋणजु: सुनिशित: पीत: सायकश्न स्रुवो महान्
cāpavegāyatas tīkṣṇaḥ parakāyāvabhedanaḥ | ṛjuḥ suniśitaḥ pītaḥ sāyakaḥ śruvo mahān ||
அம்பரீஷன் கூறினான்—யஜமானன் கையில் தங்கியுள்ள மகா ஸ்ருவம் (ஹவிஷ் கரண்டி) உண்மையில் அம்பைப் போன்றதே; வில்லின் வேகத்தால் இழுக்கப்பட்டு, நேராக, மிகத் தீவிரமாக, கூர்மையாக, ஹவிஷால் ‘பானம் செய்த’தாய், பகைவரின் உடலைப் பிளக்க வல்லது.
