Saṃhāra-krama (The Sequence of Cosmic Dissolution) — Yājñavalkya’s Discourse
अभक्तमटवीप्रायं दावदग्धमहीरुहम् । पन्थानं तस्कराकीर्ण क्षेमेणाभिपतेद् युवा
abhaktamaṭavīprāyaṁ dāvadagdhamahīruham | panthānaṁ taskarākīrṇaṁ kṣemeṇābhipated yuvā ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—மக்கள் இல்லாத வனாந்தரத்தைப் போன்ற, காட்டுத்தீயால் மரங்கள் கருகிய, கொள்ளையர்களால் நிரம்பிய பாதையில்—உணவு கிடைக்காத, பயணமே கடுமையும் அபாயமும் ஆன வழியில்—அரிதாக ஒரு இளைஞனே நலமுடன் செல்ல முடியும்; அதுபோல யோகமார்க்கத்தைச் சார்ந்தால் அரிதான ஒரு த்விஜனே திறம்பட முன்னேற முடியும்.
