कालनिर्णयः, युगधर्मवर्णनम्, सृष्टिक्रमश्च
Time-Reckoning, Yuga-Dharma, and the Sequence of Creation
पृथिवी ज्योतिराकाशमापो वायुश्च॒ पठचम: । एतद्योनीनि भूतानि तत्र का परिदेवना
śakra uvāca | pṛthivī jyotir ākāśam āpo vāyuś ca pañcamaḥ | etad-yonīni bhūtāni tatra kā paridevanā ||
சக்ரன் கூறினான்—பூமி, அக்கினி (ஒளி), ஆகாயம், நீர், ஐந்தாவதாகக் காற்று—இவையே உடலுடைய உயிர்களின் மூலக் காரணங்கள். எல்லோரும் இவற்றிலிருந்து தோன்றி இவற்றிலேயே கலந்தொழியும்போது, புலம்பலும் அழுகையும் எதற்காக?
