भीष्म उवाच अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम् । प्रह्मादस्यथ च संवादं मुनेराजगरस्य च
bhīṣma uvāca | atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṁ purātanam | prahlādasya tathā ca saṁvādaṁ muner ajagarasya ca ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—அரசே! இவ்விஷயத்திலும் ஒரு பழம்பெரும் வரலாற்று எடுத்துக்காட்டு கூறப்படுகிறது—பிரஹ்லாதனுக்கும் ‘ஆஜகர-விருத்தி’யால் வாழும் ஒரு முனிவருக்கும் இடையிலான உரையாடல்.
