अनीकं ये विभिन्‍न्दन्ति भिन्न संस्थापयन्ति च । समानाशनपानास्ते कार्या: द्विगुणवेतना:

Transliteration

anīkaṃ ye vibhinndanti bhinnaṃ saṃsthāpayanti ca | samānāśanapānās te kāryā dvi-guṇa-vetanāḥ ||

Translation

பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—பகைவரின் படைஅணியை உடைத்து, தமது படை சிதறியபோது அதை மீண்டும் ஒழுங்குபடுத்தி உறுதியாக நிலைநிறுத்த வல்லவர்களை அரசன் தன்னுடன் சமமான உணவு-பான ஏற்பாடுகளால் கௌரவித்து, இரட்டிப்பு ஊதியம் வழங்க வேண்டும்.
